"welcome. this music is the story of when i was 20 years old, far from home, living in a little parisian jungle perch with piano. for me, these songs are about the urge to explore and observe the world, and the feelings you get when you love what can't last forever.

i dreamt of making this recording for a few years after leaving, but it wasn't until a couple of cold february days, 4 years later, that i finally made it into the ancient spooky church in port royal, paris, where this recording was made. with the help of my old friend rushad, these songs were brought back to life and captured on a classic analog tape machine. i hope you enjoy the music. nico"
